    I had been using it for 2 weeks, and it crashed quite often. Now I uninstalled this irritating version, but couldn’t find any previous releases online. All the links points to firefox5 only?! It is not fair for firefox.

    I have issues with Firefox 5 it do not work with my hotmail and some websites for example,Facebook is always issues etc. could you help me pleaseeee!! i am runninig Windows XP on dell inspirtion 15 25 laptop as the windows Vista was garbage on this laptop..thanking you for your help.Fred

      THere is a quick solution to this. Just click on Firefox menu button in the top left, go to options – options – general – Under “When Firefox starts” box – chose – Show my windows and Tabs from last time – OK…
      This is quick solution for your firefox problem

    I don’t like Firefox 5. Not only does it disable Mcafee Site Advisor (An important security feature I PAY good money for) it’s incredibly slower than previous versions of Firefox. It takes so long to load a webpage it like being on dial-up again…it’ll sit there for 10-20 minutes doing nothing…the little circle just keeps turning and turning. Looks like if they insist on pushing version 5 to the exclusion of the previous version (I upgraded and now wish to downgrade) I will have to stop using Firefox in favour of IE which I DESPISE…that would be sad indeed

      Mcafee Site Advisor compatibility is in hands of Mcafee team as it is their responsiblity to update their plugins and modules to make those compatible with new releases of browser..
      If it is about speed problem in firefox 5, it is really strange as in terms of speed, lots of users have witnessed improvement..

      Flash player fully works.. I advise you to update your flash player.. No such problems as mentioned by you encountered ever..
