How do you turn off that message: “Would you like to help improve Mozilla Firefox by automatically reporting memory usage, performance, and responsiveness to Mozilla? ”
It is extremely irritating as it appears every time I start Firefox.
Just click on YES or NO button when it appears and the next time,it won’t ever appear again…
Sorry, this doesn’t work – I keep clicking no and it keeps showing the popup every time a new window opens, which stops any of my automated (Selenium) web application tests from working!
Just now downloaded firefox 7 time to check performance..soon i will get back with my update.

Hello, I am wondering, as others have asked here, how to disable the: “Would you like to help improve Mozilla Firefox by automatically reporting memory usage, performance, and responsiveness to Mozilla? ” toolbar that appears every time I start or restart my Firefox browser. I have clicked “Yes”, “No”, “x’d” it out, and it still keeps coming back every time. Thank you, and I look forward to your response.

GO to firefox options (on xp, go to tools menu in firefox and then options, on windows 7, just click on top left firefox menu button and then go to options) – then advanced – then general – At the bottom, there is a checkbox “Submit Performance Data” , just untick (Remove the checkmark ) and click ok, close firefox, open firefox again after sometime.. I hope this solves your problem..
After executing the steps mentioned above, I am still getting the same message. Due to this my automation suite is failing.

Go to firefox – tools – options – advanced – general – Uncheck the box titled – “Submit Performance Data” ..
I should have answered this comment rather than the other one – changing Submit Performance Data doesn’t work either.
I am very found of firefox browser and using it for a long time… Currently was using firefox version 7… I have downloaded latest version of firefox 8 from download.com (cnet)…. but now everytime I run…. IT CRASHES…
What can be the problem ??

i have used firefox7 and yesterday got me a message to update,i did it.SHIT…!now i have firefox new version,i dont like it.before i had attached my Gmail ad and Hotmail adress to top of the bar,when i have an mail i got notification tone,but now i cant see this bar,i dont know what happend to it,was very easy to check my mails,today i have tried to download firefox 7.0 version,but you will go automatically to new version.
can you tell me how to download old version?

You can also right click near the minimize button in firefox and chose bookmarks toolbar to bring that bar

I want to change from 8th to 7th version of firefox, I installed and did as the procedure but still the version is not getting changed.. I restarted the system also.. What should I do?
